TB-500 is commonly associated with a fragment of thymosin beta-4, a naturally occurring protein involved in how cells move and respond to tissue injury. Research on thymosin beta-4 has explored pathways related to cell migration, tissue remodeling, and wound healing. This is why TB-500 is often discussed in the context of muscles, tendons, and exercise recovery. However, commercial TB-500 fragments are not necessarily identical to full-length thymosin beta-4, so findings about one cannot automatically be applied to the other.
